Product Overview
Petroleum mixed xylene — also called xylene isomers mixture, xylene or xylol — is an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent produced from ethylbenzene and the three xylene isomers. Every batch is tested and blended to a controlled isomer ratio, so the composition stays consistent from shipment to shipment.
It offers strong solvency, stable chemical behaviour and a moderate evaporation rate, and is compatible with most organic solvents. It is widely used in coatings, printing inks, adhesives and resin synthesis.
Key Advantages
Controlled Isomer Ratio, Consistent Batch Quality
The isomer blend is tightly specified and every batch is tested before dispatch. Stable distillation range and low impurity content keep your formulation from drifting between production runs.
Compatible with a Wide Range of Resin Systems
Excellent compatibility with acrylic, epoxy and amino resins and with common additives. The moderate evaporation rate helps prevent film defects such as wrinkling and residual tack, reducing production loss.
Direct Source Supply, Flexible Stock, Fast Delivery
Stable stock with no layers of middlemen. LCL and FCL shipping, competitive pricing and reliable lead times.
Full Dangerous Goods Export Support
Experienced in exporting hazardous chemicals. Complete MSDS and COA for every batch, ocean booking through hazardous-cargo-qualified forwarders, and assistance with your import customs clearance.
Applications
Mixed xylene is used across coatings, printing inks, adhesives and resin synthesis.
- Coatings — dissolves acrylic, epoxy and amino resin systems and adjusts evaporation rate, helping to form a smooth continuous film.
- Printing inks — improves ink flow and transfer, reducing drying-in and levelling problems on press.
- Adhesives — dissolves rubber and synthetic resins, improving adhesive solution stability and coating performance.
- Resin synthesis — acts as a reaction medium and dilution solvent, helping control system viscosity.
