Plastics & Toys

Solvents for spray coating, bonding and oil and grease removal

Industry Overview

In plastics, toys and gift manufacturing, solvents carry the work in plastic adhesives, surface spray coating and grease removal. We select industrial solvents with mild odour and stable performance that suit PVC, ABS and other common plastic substrates. Consistent evaporation and low residue help moulders and toy plants keep bonding strength, print quality and surface appearance within specification. Bulk drums and small packs cover both trial and volume demand.

Typical Applications

  • Blend plastic bonding agents and toy adhesives
  • Dilute spray coatings and pad printing inks
  • Remove mould release oil and grease from mouldings
  • Treat and finish surfaces of giftware and crafts

Frequently Asked Questions

Are your solvents suitable for PVC and ABS parts?

Yes. Grades with mild odour and stable evaporation are commonly used for PVC and ABS bonding, spray coating and pad printing ink dilution. Tell us your substrate and process and we will shortlist a grade; 150 ml samples are available for trials.

What is the MOQ, and can toy factories order mixed grades?

The MOQ is one 20GP container, about 80 drums of 210 L, and a 40GP holds roughly 130 drums. LCL consolidation allows up to five product grades per container, which many toy and gift processors use to cover adhesives, inks and cleaning solvents in one order.

What documents are issued for export orders?

COA, MSDS, commodity inspection certificate and hazardous goods packaging certificate accompany every shipment, and we can assist with a certificate of origin. UN and HS codes are for reference only and confirmed with you before shipment.

How is batch consistency handled and how long is delivery?

Each batch is tested before it leaves the plant and ships with a COA and MSDS, so properties do not drift between deliveries. Lead time is 15-20 working days after deposit, on T/T terms of 30% deposit and 70% against a copy of the bill of lading.
