Leather, Footwear & Textiles
Stable solvency for leather finishing, lamination and surface treatment
Industry Overview
In synthetic leather, genuine leather, footwear and textile coating operations, solvents are used in PU slurry, lamination adhesives, surface treatment agents and cleaning steps. Our solvents are low in impurities and consistent in solvency, supporting leather polishing, fabric lamination and upper bonding. Formulators can rely on batch-to-batch consistency for PU resin dilution, treatment water and colour-change systems, and we supply them in the packaging formats most plants already handle.
Typical Applications
- Dilute and blend PU synthetic leather slurries
- Compound footwear bonding adhesives and treatment water
- Prepare leather brighteners and colour-change additives
- Clean rollers, coating lines and greasy equipment

Frequently Asked Questions
Which solvents do you recommend for PU slurry and footwear adhesives?
Buyers typically work with xylene, MEK, acetone, ethyl acetate, MIBK and anhydrous ethanol in these processes. Share your formulation and we will suggest a grade; 150 ml samples are available so your technical team can test before ordering.
What is the minimum order quantity and how is a mixed parcel handled?
The MOQ is one 20GP container, around 80 drums of 210 L; a 40GP takes about 130 drums. LCL consolidation allows up to five product grades in one container, which suits plants running several adhesive formulations.
How long is the lead time and what payment terms apply?
Delivery is 15-20 working days after deposit receipt, by T/T with a 30% deposit and the 70% balance paid against a copy of the bill of lading.
What quality and export documents are supplied?
Each batch is tested before dispatch and ships with a COA and MSDS, together with the commodity inspection certificate and hazardous goods packaging certificate. Third-party SGS testing and a certificate of origin can be arranged on request.
